Jason Cash

Manager of Production Services

Jason joined Root in 1999 as a member of the production team that he now leads.  He oversees operations of Root’s Production Services, which is responsible for internal printing, finishing, packaging and shipping, as well as external logistics, client support, vendor coordination, translation, and delivery of all Root’s paper materials

Jason’s impact on Root’s culture has been there almost as long as he has. In 2000, he was tasked to create an alter ego, whose original intent was to “ring the bell” internally whenever a new contract was signed.  From that, William McWankerby – or Billy the Bellringer – a British chap in the likeness of Austin Powers was born.   Billy has become a cultural mascot of sorts, and host of the Rooties, Root’s annual values and culture awards ceremony, as well as the Holiday Party.  As the primary entertainment coordinator of these events, he has created and performed in dozens of fun movies, comedy pieces, and songs and skits.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication Technology from Bowling Green State University and has won both the “Fun” and “Spirit of Root” Awards here.

Jason enjoys family time, Cleveland sports, pop culture and entertainment, and has a musical background as a percussionist and District Champion barbershop singer.  His performance experience is often called upon at Root for audio voiceovers for eModules, and he has even been the on-screen talent for some client videos, most notably Hilton Worldwide Hotels.  He lives in Toledo with his lovely wife Leigh, their two handsome boys, Mitchell and Lucas, and dog, Corky the Yorkie.
