Lori Fournier
Director of Design
Lori manages Root’s graphic design team. Lori has been dedicated to the quality and creativity of Root’s design competency for more than 14 years. During her tenure, her team has grown from one to seven full-time graphic artists, and she has been a valuable contributor and thought partner to the growth and evolution of the business.
Lori works with internal and external customers to identify core issues and understand the scope and objectives of a project, and then assigns resources that best match the need. She designs a wide variety of Root deliverables including infographics on visuals, card exercises, workbooks, storybooks, and more. She works closely with all areas of the organization to seamlessly connect the right- and left-brain thinking styles in ways that drive the business forward. Lori’s leadership in driving Root’s “map in a day” process improvements has led to clients choosing to make Root their preferred destination for strategic alignment and collaborative learning design implementation.
Lori has a strong background in layout, design, and print preparation, with previous experience at Arrowhead Printing, as well as several non-profit organizations, where she has helped with corporate identity. She holds a bachelor of fine arts degree in graphic design from Bowling Green State University.
Lori lives in Perrysburg with her loving dog, Newton.
