Gary is Senior Vice President of Client Solutions at Root Learning.  He currently leads the Compass Manager Development area while overseeing Root’s sales efforts with strategic accounts, geographies, and throughout Europe.

During his 11 years at Root, Gary has partnered with CEOs and executive teams across all industries throughout North America and Europe to gain a holistic view of their businesses, their people, and the customers they serve.  Throughout almost 25 years of business experience, Gary has focused on practical ways to help organizations to effectively deploy their strategy and achieve results.

Whatever the challenge, Gary brings a realistic view, a durable “street sense” for creating results, and a sense of humor that puts things into perspective.  He focuses on asking the right questions and exploring what’s below the surface of an opportunity for change.  Gary stresses the need to be accountable to the expectations of the end customers.  When a company’s leaders are clear on this, Gary works with them to create a comprehensive solution that ties their strategy to their people and, ultimately, to their customers and results.

Gary is a certified executive coach who continually promotes his belief that if leaders want to change their businesses, they must change how they connect with their people.  He specializes in helping leaders connect with the people who have their hands on the levers of change, focusing on their needs and communicating what’s changing, what the change means to them, and how they can impact that change.

Gary is the author of the forthcoming book, Great Managers, ASK! 12 Questions Guaranteed to Unlock Your Teams Potential. He lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with his wife and two teenage sons.  He’s a Google fanatic and an apologetic reality show junkie.  Originally from New Jersey, he is currently addicted to Jersey Shore.
