Bryan Moon
Managing Director
Bryan collaborates with clients around the world to develop strategic learning solutions that engage their people to create results. He has extensive experience defining strategic content, developing frontline manager training, and deploying internal brand communications. Over the past seven years, he has focused his efforts in leading projects in the retail, hospitality, and food service industries. His numerous clients include Charles Schwab, FirstEnergy, Hampton Hotels & Suites, Hilton Hotels, Hong Kong Government, JCPenney, Lowe’s, Old Navy, Outback Steakhouse, Pioneer Hi-Bred International, and Starbucks.
Before joining Root 13 years ago, Bryan was coordinator of employee development at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Iowa where he designed and delivered training and leadership development workshops for all employee groups. It was there he was first introduced to Root Learning. He led the project from the client side to ensure that the Learning Map® modules accurately reflected the company’s strategy. He also led the implementation effort to enable all employees to experience the three-map series.
Bryan holds a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in adult education, both from Drake University in Iowa. Bryan is a member of the Drake University Bulldog Athletic Board, a strategy/vision facilitator for Iowa Christian Academy, and an Iowa ASTD member.
Bryan lives in Des Moines with his wife, Carla, and two daughters. He still owns a Chicago Cubs season ticket package, and loves to use all of his airline and hotel points on his family. His favorite vacation spot is St. Maarten, where he is one of the “suckers” who purchased a timeshare.
