Barbara Stahl

Barbara works with clients to design and implement integrated strategy activation solutions that accelerate strategy execution and facilitate transformational cultural change throughout the organization. In her five years at Root, she has worked with numerous clients who include Beaumont Hospitals, BrightNow Dental, Cardinal Health, Genentech, Kaiser Permanente, Monsanto, Sanofi-Aventis, Quintiles, University of Virginia Medical Center, and VHA.

Among her varied projects, Barbara has designed a four-hour learning experience – in Portuguese – that left senior leaders excited, engaged, and hungry for more. She has also crafted leader launches to unleash strategic conversations across enterprises and create a platform for meaningful, sustainable change.

She holds a master of organization development from Bowling Green State University, a BS in education from Miami University, and is accredited in the emotional competency inventory (ECI), which measures emotional and social intelligence.

Before coming to Root, Barbara was director of marketing at the Toledo Museum of Art; president of The Stahl Associates, Inc., a strategic marketing communications firm; and communication and small group communications instructor at Owens Community College in Northwest Ohio. Barbara also co-authored and published the “SportsMom” books, a series of books that help new sports moms navigate the world of competitive youth sports.

Barbara lives in Sylvania, Ohio, and has two children.
