Carl Wagner

Managing Director

In Carl’s 12 years at Root, he has managed and supported more than 30 clients in application development, change management, and implementation. He has worked with senior leaders of these organizations with a focus on strategy activation, internal communications, strategy implementation, and change management.

Clients have included American Express, Bank of America, Citigroup Private Bank, Commerce Bank, CUNA Mutual Group, Discover Financial Services, Dresdner Bank, Lloyds TSB, Morgan Stanley, Nationwide, Prudential Group Insurance, and TD Ameritrade.

Before joining Root Learning, Carl spent 20 years as an educator, curriculum specialist, and administrator in private high school education.

Carl holds a BA from Miami University and an MA from the University of Toledo. He is a volunteer director for Directions Credit Union.

Carl lives with his wife, Sherry, in Toledo, Ohio, and is the father of Jessica, Darcy, and Brett. In his spare time, he enjoys reading and running.
