Robin Wooddall Klein
Senior Vice President
Since joining Root in 1999, Robin has been a member of the Root’s leadership team, using her talents and passion to connect people and business outcomes. She loves problem solving and new challenges and has had the opportunity to work with amazing people within Root as well as clients who are curious, thoughtful, hard driving, and committed to making their organizations stronger and more effective. She loves administering Root’s Strategy Execution Insights (SEI) diagnostic, which assesses an organization’s readiness to execute strategy, from the C-suite to the frontline. She is certified in both the Herrmman Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI) and Lominger Development tools.
Since Root is a smaller organization and provides the opportunity for all of us to wear multiple hats, Robin also designed the work environment as an expression of our brand. If you haven’t visited our client destination, please consider it! Root would love to host you.
Under Robin’s leadership, Root Learning has been recognized by the Great Place to Work Institute as one of the top 25 small to medium companies to work for in America for the past five years. In 2009, the Root culture was also recognized by the Wall Street Journal and Winning Workplaces as one of the top small workplaces in the U.S. Robin also led the development of Root Learning’s Transforming HR product, which was selected in 2002 as one of the top 10 training products of the year by HR Executive magazine.
Before joining Root, Robin spent 15 years in financial services and served as senior vice president for Sky Financial Group. She holds a BBA and an MBA from the University of Toledo and is an alumnus of the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisconsin, and Leadership Toledo. In 2004, she won the Human Resource Management Award for Excellence in Northwest Ohio.
Robin lives in Sylvania, Ohio, with her husband, Dan, and their three daughters. She loves shopping and theater, but spends much of her free time watching her girls’ athletic activities. She is currently on the board of a regional health quality coalition and is a previous president of a public charter school board.
